METRO NORTH HEALTH:
Expression of Interest (EOI) email was sent on 5 June 2025 to all Year 10 students and their families regarding an exciting School-Based Traineeship opportunity with Metro North Health for the 2026 intake.
A wide range of traineeship options are available—from nursing and business administration to dental assisting and engineering. Please note that applications close next Friday, 27 June 2025. See attached flyer to apply!

Events/Excursions
CSQ – Virtual Reality
Another immersive event initiated by our friends from Construction Skills Queensland - CSQ.
Virtual Reality (VR) is now being used in schools to help students explore different trades and career options in a fun and hands-on way. With VR, students can try out different jobs and skills in a safe and realistic environment, helping them make better choices for their future careers.
This event took place mid-last month, with over 25 Year 10 students joining in. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the experience!
On the day, our school was also awarded the annual CSQ, Construction Pathways Award, "We are a Building and Construction Gateway School" recognising us as a proud partner school for the past 8 years and a first for our ILO space too!
